The Statistician will provide statistical support, integral to designing and delivering high quality research for a range of Gladney projects. The Statistician will provide timely and scientifically sound statistical expertise to clinical development projects and create and execute statistical strategy, design, and analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the research team to develop research design and methodology for robust data collection and analysis strategies.
  • Collect and curate data from diverse sources of information ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, correlations, anomalies.
  • Collaborate with the research team to draw conclusions, determine meaningful insights, and make predictions to gain a deeper understanding of human behavior and mental processes.
  • Prepare oral and written reports to communicate results.
  • Create compelling data visualizations to effectively communicate findings.
  • Interpret results to facilitate informed decision-making processes and advance understanding of how to improve the wellbeing of families and children in adoption.
  • Support ongoing research projects by providing expertise in data analysis.
  • Adhere to ethical training standards.
  • Maintain participant and data confidentiality.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency with programming languages and statistical analysis software (R, SAS, SPSS, or similar software).
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in research.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex results simply and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail in data collection and analysis processes.
  • Strong time management skills to enable on-time project delivery.
  • Ability to solve problems and address challenges related to data collection and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least one year of data analytics experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in psychology preferred.
