The Statistician will provide statistical support, integral to designing and delivering high quality research for a range of Gladney projects. The Statistician will provide timely and scientifically sound statistical expertise to clinical development projects and create and execute statistical strategy, design, and analyses.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the research team to develop research design and methodology for robust data collection and analysis strategies.
- Collect and curate data from diverse sources of information ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, correlations, anomalies.
- Collaborate with the research team to draw conclusions, determine meaningful insights, and make predictions to gain a deeper understanding of human behavior and mental processes.
- Prepare oral and written reports to communicate results.
- Create compelling data visualizations to effectively communicate findings.
- Interpret results to facilitate informed decision-making processes and advance understanding of how to improve the wellbeing of families and children in adoption.
- Support ongoing research projects by providing expertise in data analysis.
- Adhere to ethical training standards.
- Maintain participant and data confidentiality.
Skills Required
- Proficiency with programming languages and statistical analysis software (R, SAS, SPSS, or similar software).
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in research.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex results simply and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail in data collection and analysis processes.
- Strong time management skills to enable on-time project delivery.
- Ability to solve problems and address challenges related to data collection and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least one year of data analytics experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in psychology preferred.
