To meet state licensing requirements and guarantee your preparedness for employment, it's essential to complete the trainings outlined below.
Annual Training
If you have been in your position for one year or more, you will need to continue your training every year.
- If you have less than one year of child placing work experience, you will need to complete 30 hours of training.
- If you have over one year child placing work experience, you will need to complete 20 hours of training.
By now, you should be enrolled in Gladney University's Learning Management System (LMS). All of the trainings below have been added to your account. If you've completed any of these trainings elsewhere, provide a copy of the current certificate for consideration of waiver.
If you completed one of these trainings in the LMS last year, please email Nancy Robbins so your training module can be updated.
1. Preventing and Recognizing Youth Sexual Abuse
2. Trauma Informed Care Training - 2 hours
3. Recognizing, Reporting and Preventing Child Abuse
4. CPR/First Aid - Maintain current
Thank you for your commitment to Gladney's standards and practices.
