All graduating high school, vocational school, and college Gladney Babies are invited to participate in Gladney’s 2024 Bright Futures publication (formerly called Senior Spotlight). We are proud of you!
Submission Details
- Deadline: Monday, April 1, 2024
- Complete your submission below. The online form is easy to navigate and includes additional helpful tips.
- Once all submissions are received, you will receive an invitation to join our Gladney Graduate Facebook Group.

Please submit the following:
Current Photo (Required)
- A clear, high resolution, large digital photo taken by a professional photographer or with a professional camera (example: yearbook photo). Photo must be an individual photo – only the senior should be pictured.
- Photo file size and resolution must be at least 2MB; 300 dpi; jpg format. To check the properties of your photo, right click (or control click on a Mac) the photo file on your computer. If your photo is smaller than 2MB or less than 300 dpi, contact the original source of your photo to request a digital file of the photo in the needed size and resolution. If you do not have a digital photo available, please submit a scanned photo—photo must be at least 4 x 6 size, 300 dpi.
Photo from First Year with Family (Optional)
- Although it is not mandatory, we would love to include a photo from each Gladney Baby’s placement day, adoption finalization day, or other special memory from your first year as a family. See photo file size and resolution requirements above.
Biographical Sketch (Required)
- Parent’s/Parents’ perspective on the first time you saw your child, what placement day was like, and how you felt. Total word count should be 50-100 words for this section and should be in sentence form.
- Gladney Baby’s perspective on what adoption means to you, what you have learned or how you have grown from having Gladney and adoption as part of your story, what your life is like now, and/or how having adoption as part of your story has shaped your future career interests. Total word count should be 50-100 words for this section and should be in sentence form.
- Gladney Baby’s accomplishments and future plans. This section should be written in 3rd person and in sentence form. Total word count should be 50-100 words for this section.
- The online form will also ask for some additional information about each Gladney Baby, in order to provide a summary of statistics about the graduating class in the publication. For example, states the graduates are from, activities they were involved in during school, etc.

- If you’d like to order a printed copy, the deadline to do so is: May 31, 2024

- You can also create custom pages (also due April 1) for your graduate that will only appear in their printed book. More details can be found on TreeRing’s website once you enter the passcode.
- Gladney will not be mailing printed copies this year.
- The publication will be posted on Gladney’s website and social media accounts, shared with the Gladney Community by email, and shared with Gladney Friends. For confidentiality purposes, only graduates’ first names will be listed with their photos. Last names and specific identifying information will not be listed with their photos. This year, if you would like to purchase a printed copy, you will create an account on Tree Ring and order the number of books you’d like.
